Merry New Year!!!!!
Whew! It’s been a month that I have been missing in action! Not completely missing but busy to say the least.
Most of all, I have been busy mixing up spices! & am now finally selling my blends on Etsy. For now, I have three blends featured that are my personal favorites I use the most in my own dishes.
I will feature my spice blends in my recipe posts here along with other recipes I try or come up with. Hopefully in 2013 you will continue to follow me and remember to let me know when you try anything.

The Three I have available now are
- Moroccan Madness - contains turmeric, paprika, cumin and other spices with a hint of cinnamon
- English Garden – contains thyme, rosemary, rubbed sage and other herbs with a hint of lavender
- & the amazing Egyptian Dukkah which is great on literally everything from yogurt to tenderloin. – Dukkah is a nut and seed spice mix that is used throughout Egypt and is a great, super flavorful alternative to salt.

There are some other items there as well that make great gifts or just for yourself. So far, the most popular seems to be the kitchen hand scrub and hand butter which is great to keep near the sink. The scrub is coffee based and helps get rid of food odors on your hands and the hand butter keeps them looking and feeling smooth and soft. Perrrrfect for the amateur or professional chef. Remember Valentine’s Day is coming up so visit the shop, get a box of cards, some spices and kitchen hands set for a great gift to yourself or a loved one. :-)
